I am now referred to as "Mom". No more "Mommy" or "Momma" What's next to go? Goodbye kisses at daycare? The fight over who loves who more?
My main question is.... Why is "Daddy" still "Daddy"?

When I was a nanny for 10 years for an oncologist, they had 3 boys. They were each one year apart. For some reason, the oldest one always felt comfortable saying, Goodnight, Michelle, love you." The other 2 boys would only say, "Goodnight." I was so sad when they outgrew me. Now they are all in college ane the middle one is in med school. Always hang on to those precious words as they happen!!
life goes by so quickly before you know it they are married and having children of their own...as Saly said hang on to those precious words as they happen.

I know. There are days I want to catch my life on tape so I can re-live it.

I can tell you what's next. "Mom" will turn into "Mommmmmmmm!" (think exasperated pre-teen). Sigh.
Oh... Well he is already there!! He yells at me to come and put on a new Blues Clues.
